On the afternoon of June 12th, the 2025 "Light and Shadow Record · Cross-Strait Graduation Season" online micro-documentary creation Sharing Conference was held in Quanzhou. This event is guided by the China Radio and Television Association and hosted by the Fujian Provincial Radio and Television Bureau. It is an offline exchange project of the 2025 "Light and Shadow Record · Cross-Strait Graduation Season" Online micro-documentary Mass creation and sharing activity. Since its launch at the end of last year, the "Light and Shadow Record · Cross-Strait Graduation Season" online micro-documentary co-creation and sharing event in 2025 has attracted the participation of over 80 universities, media organizations and people from all walks of life on both sides of the Taiwan Strait. A total of more than 2,177 works were collected, setting a new record for youth film activities on both sides of the Taiwan Strait.

At the sharing session, representatives of the main creators of outstanding works from both sides of the Taiwan Strait engaged in a dialogue on the theme of youth documentary film creation in the era of integrated media communication. The sharing session invited Xia Meng, vice president of the China Documentary Society and a national first-class screenwriter, and Wang Shengzhi, chief producer of Strait Satellite TV and director of online micro-documentaries such as "Breakfast in China". Young creators from Taiwan said that this event brought together a large number of outstanding online micro-documentary works from both sides of the Taiwan Strait. Everyone focused on the special life stage of "graduation season" together, showcasing the distinctive and passionate interpretations of "graduation season" by young people from both sides. For instance, the Taiwanese work "May You Still Remember Yourself That Summer" takes the daily life of the student days and the work and life after graduation as the main content of its records. Through the parallel editing of two time periods, it presents the experiences and insights at different stages of life.
The work "Graduation, Senior", co-created by young people from both sides of the Taiwan Strait, tells the story of a senior who is about to graduate and prepares for the Chinese University Basketball Association (CUBA). Tang Luoqi, the representative of its main creative team, said: "I like the uncertainty and challenge of documentaries. You never know what will happen in the next second. Our youth is the same, full of uncertainties."
To further enhance the effectiveness of the event, the "Green Snail" co-creation plan was specially launched on the spot, calling on young people on both sides of the Taiwan Strait to engage in audio-visual cultural exchanges with the theme of "co-creation, resonance, and sharing". Through the screening of outstanding online micro-documentaries, immersive cultural experiences, and interactions between young representatives and industry experts, a deep dialogue platform for the audio-visual industry among young people on both sides was established.
