智渡禅师简介禅师，俗家姓张，法名昌身、字智渡、起渡、妙定、衍明……皆传承法师所赐。禅师生于浙江仙居，毕业于武汉水利电力学院（现已并入武汉大学）。出家后常住浙江天台山慈恩寺，是当代肉身菩萨永慈大师禅密净律诸法脉的接续者，2003年5月担任住持至今，也是佛门天台宗46代、禅门沩仰宗第10代法嗣。同时，禅师尚是镜心印社国际书画艺术研究中心主要创办人、兼任慈恩寺佛教艺术研究院代院长，中国玉观音慈善义诊队顾问、武汉大学深圳研究院特聘哲学教授...... 禅师慈悲为怀，倡导护生、复兴文化与临终关怀等公益慈善事业，并兼顾佛像雕刻、寺院规划、建筑设计和工程监理。禅师于上世纪九十年代初即倡导非药物疗法，并实践用分子医学和分子生物学来分析和研究病理，已有相关著作提交出版社审批。在书法和著述方面也有所成：禅师所写的“福”字意象画书法，据说是继康熙“福”字之后既拥有了五字合一又凸显了意像字画的不二的创举；2016年春节至今，已有上万“福”字进入了千家万户。禅师的梵文书写与禅意画也很有特色。出版的书籍和纪录片有《佛门探宝》、《幸福大道》、《当下解惑》、《临终关怀》往生教导片等等；创作的歌词有《白云山的月亮》、《皈依三宝》、《受戒好》、《罗汉舞》、《天台山》、《燃灯古洞》等十多首，其中《天台山》由当时的中国音乐家协会副秘书长田晓耕谱曲，《罗汉舞》由作曲家蓉梓谱曲…… 禅师重视人才培养，传法授徒严格认真，讲究依业、对机。自从2003年接任慈恩寺住持以来，以弘扬止观为己任，其影响已及全国各省市与欧美和东南亚。2022年被评为人民书画家，2023被评为国礼艺术家、国际和平艺术家，2025年世纪大风釆活动大会上被授予农业领城品牌人物

Zen Master Zhidu, Brief Introduction: Zen Master, lay surname Zhang, Dharma name Changshen, courtesy names Zhidu, Qidu, Miaoding, Yanming... All are bestowed by the master of inheritance. The Zen master was born in Xianju, Zhejiang Province and graduated from Wuhan Institute of Hydraulic and Electric Engineering (now merged into Wuhan University). After becoming a monk, he has been residing at Ci 'en Temple on Tiantai Mountain in Zhejiang Province. He is the successor of the various Dharma lines of the contemporary physical Bodhisattva Master Yongci's Chan, esoteric, and Pure Vinaya teachings. Since May 2003, he has served as the abbot and is the 46th generation of the Tiantai School of Buddhism and the 10th generation of the Weiyang School of Chan. At the same time, the Zen master is also the main founder of the International Calligraphy and Painting Art Research Center of Jingxin Seal Engravers' Society, concurrently serving as the acting director of the Buddhist Art Research Institute of Ci 'en Temple, an advisor to the China Jade Guanyin Charity Medical Consultation Team, and a specially-appointed philosophy professor at the Shenzhen Research Institute of Wuhan university...... The Zen master, with a heart full of compassion, advocated public welfare and charity undertakings such as protecting life, reviving culture and end-of-life care, and also took care of Buddha statue carving, temple planning, architectural design and project supervision. The Zen master advocated non-pharmaceutical therapies in the early 1990s and practiced using molecular medicine and molecular biology to analyze and study pathology. Relevant works have been submitted to publishers for approval. He also achieved success in calligraphy and writing: The "Fu" character image painting calligraphy written by the Zen master is said to be a unique innovation following the "Fu" character of Emperor Kangxi, which not only combines the five characters but also highlights the image painting. Since the Spring Festival of 2016, tens of thousands of "Fu" characters have entered thousands of households. The Sanskrit writings and Zen-inspired paintings of the Zen master are also very distinctive. The published books and documentaries include "Treasure Hunting in Buddhism", "The Path to Happiness", "Solving Doubts in the Present", "End-of-Life Care", and so on. The lyrics he composed include more than ten songs such as "The Moon of Baiyun Mountain", "Taking Refuge in the Three Jewels", "Take the Precepts Well", "The Arhat Dance", "Tiantai Mountain", "The Ancient Cave of Lamps", etc. Among them, "Tiantai Mountain" was composed by Tian Xiaogeng, the then deputy secretary-general of the China Musicians' Association, and "The Arhat Dance" was composed by the composer Rongzi... The Zen master attaches great importance to the cultivation of talents, and is strict and serious in imparting teachings and teaching apprentices, emphasizing the importance of adapting to one's profession and the right opportunity. Since taking over as the abbot of Ci 'en Temple in 2003, he has taken it as his responsibility to promote samatha and Vipassana, and his influence has reached all provinces and cities in China as well as Europe, America and Southeast Asia. In 2022, he/she was honored as a People's Calligrapher and Painter. In 2023, he/she was recognized as a National Gift Artist and an International Peace Artist.
