On June 14th, at the opening ceremony of the 17th Strait Forum · Strait Audio-Visual Season, the results of the 2025 "Light and Shadow Record · Cross-Strait Graduation Season" online micro-documentary Mass creation and sharing activity were announced.
This event was divided into two groups: Group A (1-5 minutes) and Group B (5-10 minutes). It attracted the participation of over 80 universities, media organizations and people from all walks of life across the country. A total of 2,177 works were collected, among which nearly 400 were created by teachers and students from Taiwan and co-created by both sides of the Taiwan Strait.
These works focus on the common experiences, emotional resonances and growth inspirations of students from both sides of the Taiwan Strait at important stages of their lives, expressing the common expectations of young people on both sides for the future.
The first category work of Group A, "Chinese Red in My Eyes", highlights the spiritual connection and emotional resonance of students from both sides of the Taiwan Strait by extracting the color symbol "red".
The Class I work of Group B, "Graduated Senior", tells the story of college students from both sides of the Taiwan Strait preparing for the CUBA basketball League, capturing the vigorous and enterprising youthful energy with the camera. The second category work of Group B, "I'm Really Graduating", showcases the thoughts and explorations of young people about to leave campus regarding their future.
During the Strait Audio-Visual Season, teachers and students from both sides of the Taiwan Strait, the main creators, and representatives of industry experts who participated in the 2025 "Light and Shadow Record · Cross-Strait Graduation Season" online micro-documentary co-creation and sharing event gathered in Fujian for a five-day exchange activity. Meanwhile, to deepen the effectiveness of this project and enhance the brand effect of the event, the "Green Snail" co-creation plan was launched, inviting young people on both sides of the Taiwan Strait to co-create, resonate and share documentary images. At the same time, through forms such as research and field research on Minnan culture, sharing of documentary creation, and interaction between young creators and experts, a new platform for creative dialogue in the audio-visual field among young people on both sides of the Taiwan Strait was established.
