On the afternoon of September 8th, the "Special Promotion Conference for Investment in Hainan Free Trade Port" was held in Xiamen, hosted by the People's Government of Hainan Province and organized by the China Association of Foreign-Invested Enterprises and the Department of Commerce of Hainan Province. More than 70 key business associations and enterprise leaders, including the Japan External Trade Organization, the American Chamber of Commerce in China, General Electric Healthcare (China) Co., LTD., and Mitsubishi Corporation (Shanghai) Co., LTD. At the promotion event, Sun Dahai, a member of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of Hainan Province and vice chairman of the Standing Committee, said that building the Hainan Free Trade Port is a major national strategy. The Hainan Free Trade Port is becoming a new frontier of China's opening up to the outside world. He sincerely invited everyone to visit Hainan, experience Hainan and invest in Hainan, and share the new opportunities for the development of the Hainan Free Trade Port. Peng Wei, executive vice president of the China Association of Foreign-Invested Enterprises, pointed out that the series of policies of the Hainan Free Trade Port have taken effect. The association will actively leverage its own advantages, build an exchange platform, promote communication and cooperation between foreign-funded enterprises and governments at all levels, parks and local enterprises in Hainan, and facilitate the connection and implementation of projects. Lu Wei, the deputy director of the Department of Commerce of Hainan Province, provided an in-depth interpretation of the customs clearance policies and industrial investment opportunities of the Hainan Free Trade Port.
